CHECKING CONNECTIVITY

Connectivity is checked by using PING command

See the Example

Two systems System 1 and System 2

System 1 IP address is 192.168.10.10

System 2 IP address is 192.168.10.11

Check connection from system 1 to system 2

Open command prompt (Start-run type cmd Enter)

Eg: Ping 192.168.10.11

Check the data received and send is not zero

Check connection from system 2 to system 1

Open command prompt (Start-run type cmd Enter)

Eg: Ping 192.168.10.10

Check the data received and send is not zero
